A Lion Called Christian - A True Story

My brother recommended me to read this book last week because he knows that I am an animal lover and would surely be impressed by the book. I finished up the book within a few hours and do highly recommend to all people who are like me, an animal lover. Though Mandy is an animal lover herself, but books and her just don't click that well. She end up snoring after the first paragraph. Duh!

The book I am talking about here is:

Book Description
As Ace and John, two friends, are searching for holiday gifts in London, they come across a lion cub for sale in Harrods, the famous department store! Unable to bear the thought of leaving the cub, Ace and John take him home and name him Christian. After a year of fun and mischief Christian has grown up, and Ace and John realize that their pet needs to be among other lions and deserves to live free, in his natural environment. Luckily, friends help introduce Christian to the African wild.

Christian the Lion tells the riveting true story of one animal’s ability to adapt to life in the wild, and captures the unexpectedly enduring connection between man and animal.

Here are some pictures of Christian, the lion during his days with Ace & John:

Last but not least...a very touching video clip from Youtube showing none other than Christian The Lion himself and his reunion with Ace & John.

Go! Go! Travel!

Well, I know I haven't been updating my blog as frequent as I wanted to due to my roller-coaster mood. Haiz...sorry about that. But I think I am OK now. I am even so in the mood of going traveling that I have been searching online for the last few days for an appropriate travel destination. My first choice is Cambodia because I have been looking forward to visit Angkor Wat for ages. I proposed to Mandy about my plan and we decided once we have saved enough $CASH$, we will book the first ticket available to fly out of Malaysia!!! Hahahaha...

Anyway, Mandy recommend that we go Bangkok since we made a promise to go there after our SPM but the plan never materialize and she would want to fulfil that dream now. I was a bit reluctant at first because newspaper of late always have news of people planting bombs everywhere in Thailand. Those Thais are full of shits! They are never satisfy no matter who is their leader...Duh!

Since we still have time, we shall open our hearts to more destinations. Hmmm...who knows we will end up going to India...wuahahahah....

I found this land packages today while surfing online. Their prices are quite reasonable...to me, at least.

It's coming to an end...

It seems like ages since I last came here. I avoid coming here because I just can't seems to find the courage to face my problems. A lot of things happen over the last few months. Thinking back, it has been so long since I am able to smile from the bottom of my heart. I guess I am lucky enough to pass by each day now without thinking suicidal. I am very sad. Seriously very down. I don't know if I will ever be able to live a normal life again.

Anyway, I feel that it is just a matter of time before we officially break-up. Is like we are waiting now who would say the words out first. I absolutely see no future in us anymore.

I am trying to get use to my life without him and hope I will be able to cope with the depression.

As I am writing this post, my heart still ache with pain. Guess the wound has not completely heal yet. Wonder how long more it needs to take?

Special OFF-DAY For Candy

Today I went to work as usual and was surprise to see everyone standing outside. The guard told me that the office's power was down, in fact the whole area's power was down. We have to sign-in manually to show our attendance and wait for further instructions. After what we waited for like half-an-hour, we were asked to go home as TNB said that they won't be able to solve the problem til late evening. YAY!

MyVi Limited Edition

I passed by Greenlane last Sunday and saw ONE pink MyVi parking in a big piece of land where Perodua store its other dull silver MyVi(s). Anyway, this attractive pink MyVi was as if talking to me "Buy me, I'm chic!" so I thought Perodua launched a new colour.

It has been haunting me in my mind for 5 days and I finally logged on to Perodua.com.my to see what the hell are they offering!

Damn it, this is the new Limited Edition with a fresh look on the inside which every girl would love to drive on it. I mean look at the colour, it's strictly for girls! The former Limited Edition was Pearl White which has nothing to be excited about, but this colour I tell you... It looks okay attractive in this picture but you gotto look at the real car, the pink is SO CHIC even your granma will like it!

I actually like the Special Edition where it has all the upgrades that you can name of = FULL SPECS yo! http://www.smileycodes.info Too bad RM54k is a little pricey for a local made car and the Orange colour is abit too flashy/heavy/over/whatever. I can get a 2nd hand 2 years Suzuki Swift with an additional RM6k. I would not opt for a new MyVi SE. I love Suzuki Swift Sports and I think this colour was actually inspired by Swift.. anyway, I don't care who copied who but this is very nice.

Oh Huak-you Perodua, you are luring poor young ladies like me with your Limited Edition colour, interior and exterior! I love the vanity mirror on the Driver's side, I really LOVE IT !! http://www.smileycodes.info I have mentioned about this Driver's Vanity Mirror not  long ago and here it is :)

So nice.... http://www.smileycodes.info

HELL....P !

I woke up quite early today because the spastic guy on the above unit start to drag his chair around. He does it everyday. I don't understand what is it so interesting with the "Dragging Game" he plays everyday. It's like dragging a chair from one end to the other or drag it into each of his rooms...  Gruuuu.... gru..... gruuuuuu... After a while comess the kid next door, crying, wAHHHH.. I sometimes respect Candy because she never gets irritated with all this noise. She's happily making breakfast in the kitchen while I'm almost gonna kill the fucking kid next door!

Allow me to elaborate since I have not been bad mouthing people in my blog recently. If I haven't already mentioned, I have a new neighbour that moved in 2 months ago. They are a small family, a couple of parents and 2 kids, a boy and girl. The young boy screams 5 times a day for at least 10 minutes, as frequent as the Masjid's prayers but he definitely screams louder. And his parents? Did nothing to stop him of course, because his parents too, talk loudly and yell to each other. Oh no, they were communicating and not fighting. Where do all these barbarians come from?

I sometimes miss the quarreling noise from Aunty Pok and Uncle Bob next door. They are lovey dovey recently and do not yell at each other like they did before. I wonder what happened but anyway it's a good thing because I cannot take anymore noise no more.

I wonder how do people get along with each other in an apartment? Candy and I live in houses back in our home town and we never had to tolerate all this nuisance.

In my family, banging doors are strictly forbidden because my mom will Bantai any of us if we make such a loud noise to disturb the others. It is considered rude but here, I can hear my next door neighbours slamming their doors and same goes to the cerebral palsy guy on the upper unit. What is their problem? Are they trying to break the doors or their parents do not teach them to be gentle?

Can somebody teach me how to stop the noises besides hiring an assasin? I have spoken to the management office several times but the disturbance never stopped. Either the management guy didn't do his work or the barbarians ignored the warning.

ADUH, SENGSARANYA TELINGAKU.. TOLONG !!

Volkswagen L1

Volkswagen came up with a one seater car L1. I think it's because the car is a one litre car so they name it L1. It's supposed to be an economical, fuel saving car... Pretty cute eh? : )

And it is believed to be cruising at 100-120 Km/Hr with an unbelievable 0.99litre/100Km (258 miles/gallon)!

And here's the video for us to be envy at.. (it's a different generation from the photos above, I think. Anyway both are L1)

I don't think we will have this in Malaysia because of our National / Local made cars.
Sigh, we are so unfortunate. The car is USD 600 / RMB 4,000..
(Should be about RM 2,000) T_T but even if they really bring it here, our country would most probably impose a 50x tax. Yo!

*&^%$#@! Malaysia Boleh!

Hmm, I wonder if they have a boot/trunk for luggage, mirror on the sun-shade for make-up purpose, shoe drawer below the seat, lipstick holder, etc, wuhahaha.. because I think its only suitable for ladies. Men doesn't like small cars. Right?

Pacman in Library

Have you ever done this in your University days?   >: )

When we're gone

I used to check our CandyMandy blog, my personal blog, gmail, facebook(s), very often.. to the extend that I seriously thought I rely too much on the internet. I was depressed, it was all because of a relationship failure. I couldn't carry on with my life normally as soon as I thought I could.

The more I wanted to be strong, to live better, the weaker I became. I basically have no interest in anything anymore. So I decided to leave the cyber world. To continue to be sad, cry, follow what my heart wanted. I even thought of never to check our CandyMandy email, blog, facebook again

Months have passed and today is 21-Jun-10. I have recovered but over the months I didn't even for once log in to any of our websites. I am not sure if Candy did.

I was late for work today due to the unusual heavy rain that poured on Penang Island. I am in the office. Everybody else was out for the 1pm lunch while I already had my lunch on 12pm. I suddenly remembered the Princess' Diary.

I logged into our email to find 300 over spam messages, 20 over Wan-Kat (kacau-kacau) enquiries and 3 emails from the readers of Princess' Diary. My last posting was in April. The urge to continue writing this blog have suddenly hit me and thus, the new blog template, background, color and this post (psst, trying to make a come back like people from the showbiz always say, LOL)

Hello, I am Mandy. How are you?

1982 Lafite?

I have been a HK tv series mania since I was a kid because my grandma watch them when I was small. My mom used to rent TVB video tapes when I was in primary school, high school, until they start to sell vcds at the pasar malam and now we can easily download from the internet, haha..

I grew up with TVB and I basically learn Cantonese from TVB. At one time, I thought of living and working in HK but as I grew older I know that place is not for me. Hongkie is not as nice as how the TVB series portray them to be. They are still rude and kurang-ajar although they pretend to be SO civilized.

Back to TVB: It annoys me when I hear them speak English in ALL drama, especially:

1) Proposal - phou phou sou
2) Idea - ai tee ya
3) Party - phaa theee..
4) Lift - lip
5) 'Well...'

..and they really got on my nerves when they pronounce Twinkle as Chwing Khou! That's Tavia Yeung's name in the Cupid Stupid series.

Everybody and anybody in HK is a graduate from the University of Harvard, came back from the US, Canada, a successful businessman in the US (Wall Street) blabla... and when they work, they say Phou Phou Sou. When they made a mistake, they shout "Jesus" :-/ Hello, you worship the Big Buddha and you call Jesus. When they get married it's always the Church and when they pray, it must be Wong Tai Sin? LOL!

They used to mention Malaysia too but usually about drugs and death sentence. :-/ Recently, they learn about our Datuk-ship and in the dramas, every Malaysian is a Datuk and they are over dressed, super rich, can have 4 wives and easily own a few mountains of bird's nest and monopolized the Rubber Estate Industry, >_< Now that they found out Sabah is a nice place, they talk about Sabah in almost every tv series. Well, it's a good promo though :) Visit Malaysia!

Next is, The Wine in HK. Over the decate(s), Hongkies have been drinking the 1982 Lafite in almost EVERY tv series and I bet the whole world is running out of stock because they are all exported to HK. LOL!

They used to drink Lafite everytime they dine in Restaurants but recently they even drink the 1982 Lafite when having dinner AT HOME! I don't see them drinking plain water anymore. I doubt Lee Ka Shing would drink vintage wine everyday. Not that he cannot afford but he needs water too, okay? Huhuhu..

Sorry, for those who do not watch HK TVB series will not understand what I say but if you do... it's a tribute to Hongkie and TVB, hahahaha...

Psst! Bollywood movies also speaks 4/10 English, but they don't have so many phou phou sou to do at work-lah.. :-/

Born Rich

My TVB series marathon includes Born Rich, another TVB series.

Rating: 3/5 - 40% love story 60% business and gila power/money story..

I like Gallen Lo and Anita Yuen's love story. It was painful and romantic but too bad they didn't get to be together afterall. Gallen played a role where he grew up in Sabah and it was hillarious when he specifically said "ngo mou loi" (I don't have money) because only Malaysian calls money as "Loi" haha... I didn't know Sabah is SO beautiful.

** Eh Candy, want to go Sabah? But I don't wanna go sun bathing under the freaking hot sun-lah.. I'll sit under the tree >:)

Ray Lui (Lui Leong Wai) one of my favourite old time actor (the first Teng Lek in Shanghai Bund, HK version). Ray is a rich tycoon and he has mistaken Gallen as his lost brother. Gallen played along, pretending to be his brother with the intention to con Ray's money. Lama-lama he became greedy and wanted power, wanted to take over Ray's business.

When his identity was exposed, he lost everything including his memory. He became like a lunatic and went back to Sabah. Fuh, the story was long and winding and I cannot believe it was one of TVB's grand production in 2009. Anyway, Gallen is still so GAYA :*

Anita Yuen with her "Oh no!" in the first episode >_< !! It's just Oh Shit!

Cupid Stupid

A HK tv series that I watched recently, Cupid Stupid.

Rating: 4/5 star because.. I simply love Tavia Yeung. Every time she cries, I cried, No matter what role she played. She is such a wonderful and beautiful actress who'll just bring you SO into the series/role.

Steven Ma, her childhood best friend who fell in love with Tavia since... childhood. He dare not tell Tavia lah, until she met Michael Tse and they got together. Steven then panicked, tried to tell her, numerous obstacles, finally gave up, then Tavia suddenly found out, broke up with Michael but she's indecisive, lalala.. finally chosen Michael.. so unfair!

A total Hongkie love story that I won't recommend to people who's just broke-up with their partner. It also talks a lot about horoscopes which is quite true. But I'm still not convinced that they actually NEVER mention about the forest king, Leo. TVB is just too much!

You call that 'EAT' ah?

We always hear and read about exercising to a healthier life. What about slim people, do they need exercise too? As far as I know, exercise burns fat!

They say when you are unhappy, your body cannot absorb nutritions intake because your digestive system is sad too. I have lost some weight recently over a depression. I have been eating alot lately, like 5 meals a day because I want to be able to fit perfectly into my jeans again.. I have noticed some improvement though, slow.. >:)

Girls nowadays really do NOT eat, so people thought we don't eat just to stay slim/fit. It's a misconception that I hate most. Though Candy's cool with it but I specially hate it when plump people tells me that I don't eat. Too bad even if they don't eat they are still fat! *&^%$#@!!

A FAT classmate of mine name Jojo (waist 29) keep saying that I don't eat, eventhough we have lunch together 'frequently' for almost 2 years and my rice just happen to be 3 times of hers. Because her portion is so small, you just cannot imagine she can actually tahan for 1 whole day!

"You and Candy don't eat ah?" <-- Jojo's favourite quote.

My favourite quote on lunch time with Jojo "You call that EAT ah?"

Fat ass... *&^%$#@!!!

Dog Bite Stylist

Girls are better in long or short hair?

Since I only need 1 year for my short hair to grow long again, I was thinking of letting go my long hair and if the stylist failed me, I can wear a cap for a month..

Or why not I make Candy to cut her hair short, haha! You know, this girl... her hair has been long ever since we met and I think it's pretty mysterious why can't she cut her hair short for ONCE. Talk about short hair, I have a story to share:

One midnight in Dec 08, I woke up and looked into the mirror.. I felt my head was heavy so I took a scissors and cut my hair from bra-line to ear-length about 13 inches.. Guess what, I failed because I couldn't see my hair behind me and my back hair became like some long some short.. Candy named me, The Dog Bite Stylist eventhough I think it was quite nice, haha! Our classmates didn't notice the error and they thought I got a hair cut and that it was intended.

I wanted to try again but it wouldn't be so appropriate now since I'm working as a p-time receptionist. I should also take into consideration how clients would react to it.. Grrrhh..

Long hair? short hair? color? uncolored? cut my hair? cut Candy's hair?? perm? rebonding? lalalalala...

..and Found and Lost...

On the 5th day, my size 24 jeans could fall down if I don't wear a belt and it use to be good fit. Girls who wish to loose weight? Try breaking up with your boyfriend. I skipped classes, Candy accompanied me and make sure I eat eventhough I don't feel hungry.

6th day: Danny came to our house, Candy greeted him with *&^%$#@!! and sent him away. I actually wanted him to come and see what he brought with him that day but.. I know she's doing it for my own good because when I get serious, it's hard for me to fall OUT of love. She's here to overturn the impossible.

I was forced to carry on with my life under her supervision; I did, though not fully recovered but 70% is good enough to bring me back to class. I sat in the library everyday after class, looking back at the notes I missed during my absence. A busy week helped me to recover another 10%. I'm now 80% healed.

Danny came to college one day and we went out while Candy's in class. My 80% recovery slowly reduces as I look at him while he was driving.. 75, 60, 68.. 50.. by the time we reached Batu Ferringhi beach, I'm ready to fall in love all over again.

He gave me a necklace that I couldn't say NO to.. to "tie me" so that I will not leave him again. It was stupid yet romantic. It's wrong but sometimes you just want to be wrong for just once. We wanna live like there's no tomorrow! I sent Candy a text msg and switched off my phone while Danny off his phone without texting his family. We spontaneously decided to hide ourselves from the world so we went to Pulau Jerejak. Why do I care about where his money came from? Kan I'm a materialistic bitch? We had a good time being alone together and I know this is the time I will miss if we never get to see each other again for whatever reason in future.

We went jungle tracking, we lost our way, I cried, he laughed, we quarrelled over which way we should go.. enjoy spa, massage, we went cycling, flying fox, we did everything that was dangerous. 3 days flies and we're about to check out from the resort. What will happen when we go home?

I reached home and Candy didn't say anything. She passed me more notes from the classes I missed. Danny calls me, sees me as usual but surprisingly even more often. @_@ Why is everything so in order? No chaos? The 1+7 women didn't come with 7 knives, crashing my door and slash me.. I couldn't sleep every night as it is too unusual to be so normal after our ran-away.

I confronted Candy and she said she will support me in whatever my decision is as long as that's what I want. Okay, acceptable but the 1+7... Danny said his family have accepted the fact that we are inseparable and they have stopped damaging our relationship. Really? I don't believe him. Leo can sometimes be over sensitive, suspicious and insecure but our instincts are usually accurate. Danny was a jovail person but lately he has become less sunshine and a little bit moody. Yeah, nobody noticed but me.

Later, I found out that 1+7 didn't really settled for peace. It's just that Danny has been filtering and digesting the ugly truth so that it doesn't reach my ear. This time I truly realized that it is necessary to Leave Him If You Love Him. So here I am.. blogging about my PAST.

Found and lost..

Like I mentioned in my previous post, I had boyfriend name Danny. We were so in love but due to the fact that he is such a mommy's boy, we broke off because of his family (1 mom and 7 sisters didn't like me). I don't really know the actual reason of why they dislike me but I think because:

1) I dressed TOO well when I went to his house. The sisters made a remark that I'm a 'city girl'. Hello? I come from a kampung. My clothing is NOTHING fancy or over exposure but I seldom wear oversized t-shirt and 3/4 pants like all his other sisters do. I'm confident that my dressing is DECENT. They are even more kampung than I am.

2) They say I didn't greet them when I see them. Liar. We all know greeting old bags are a MUST whenever you see them. Thus, I was labelled as 'tak sopan'.

3) Danny buys me gifts so often, so I'm a materialistic bitch. I received gifts and found out that it was wrong to accept gifts from a boyfriend who loves you.

We often argue about what his family had to say about me and he went through a hard time maintaing our relationship because his sisters will insult him, make fun of him, despise him, everytime after he sees me. We ended up being friends again. It feels better; I can loudly curse his whole family to die without feeling guilty.

We stopped seeing each other for sometime, I cried myself to sleep every night until I lost count, until I stood up and live again. The pain was unbearable.. I blame his family for making up stories about me and I hate him for not standing up for me.

FOUND: About a year ago, we started seeing each other again and of course, 'as a friend' we said. Our feelings were still strong for each other. The way he looked at me, pat my head, find ways to hold my hand when we cross roads (the silly old trick, haha) but an old trick is good enough to make me feel cloud-9 ^o^ but when I think about the torture I went through during the break-up.. I'm scared to fall in love with him (again) so our 'friendahip' went on with both of us pretending to have gotten over our past, when one day by the end of 2009, Danny came to me and said "Let's stop seeing each other!"

I was astonished but had to act calm. I didn't ask why. Not because I know the reason but because I was too confused to make a move. I'm afraid we would get back together (I cannot handle another break-up) and I don't wanna lose him (and never get to see him again).

We kept quiet and look at each other every 5 seconds then turn away, waiting for either one to ASK or to EXPLAIN why. After like 100 years of silence, I finally gave in..

"Why?"

He stared at me for a while, with the I Don't-Have-Balls look. I started to cry, knowing that no matter how we try to maintain this fcuking fake friendship, it's not working because we want to be more than just friends, it's not going anywhere because his family is in the way and I'm fcuking forbidden and he cannot say NO to his barbaric family! It's torturing to face some one you love and pretend to be FRIENDS because of 10,000 restrictions.

He hugged me and my tears just fell like rain that day. We remained in that position until my feet turns numb. And his shirt? Soaked with my tears.

He is the only son and the youngest in his family, a coward, a mama's boy. He cannot even be with someone he loves. Do I have a future with him? Seriously no but like a Chinese saying "The one you cannot get will be the one you love most". We are so, super cin-kak.

So, I LOST a (boy)friend.

Don't you EVER snore again!

I came across a very interesting article not long ago from Utusan Malaysia where a student killed his room mate because he can no longer tolerate him snore. Hahaha.. It was supposed to be a sad story but maybe I'm not sympathatic enough so I think it's really funny! LOL!

Candy listen here, don't you EVER snore again or I will kill you, wuahahahaha!

Ghostly Encounter

As Mandy has mentioned earlier on, we were off somewhere for a short break during our MIA (Missing in Action). Nowhere fancy, just somewhere within Malaysia. Anyway, we enjoyed ourselves going around and taking loads of pictures. At one point, Mandy was mentioning that she heard from "someone" reliable that this year, 2010 we need to wear a "pak kwa" to enhance our luck. And coincidentally, during our trip, we saw a place selling these ancient Chinese jewelries and they happen to sell "pak kwa" as well. So, as naive as we were, we purchase 2 "pak kwa". One for Mandy and one for me.

First night back to the hotel, I could not sleep while Mandy was snoring her way to dreamland on the bed beside. By the time the trip was over, I was exhausted and my eyes resemble a panda as I have had sleepless nights throughout the trip. I thought I would sleep better once I am back to my own bed but unfortunately I still could not sleep. And by now, I starts to have this creepy feeling that there is something watching me. Well, I am not a very superstitious person but this is really freaking me out. I moved to Mandy's room after that and surprising manage to get some sleep. I did not told the actual story but just said that I was feeling scared after a horror movie to keep her at ease. So, for the week after that, I was sleeping in Mandy's room together with her. I never dared to be alone after that as I can always felt the present of something unnatural nearby causing me to have goosebumps.

After the week passed, I dared myself to go back to my own room as I thought it make no sense to continue sleeping in Mandy's room and paying the rental for 2 rooms. And so, that night, I packed my stuff and returned to my room. As expected, my eyes were wide open the whole night and I did not catch any sleep until daylight breaks in. Once I woke up after a short nap and about to go take a quick bath before heading for class, I realized my feet was in pain the moment I step down on the floor. I thought nothing of it and rushed of to get ready for class. By noon, my feet has swollen into an elephant fee (maybe a lil' exaggerating) but believe me, it become so swollen that I could hardly walk. Mandy quickly sent me to a Chinese doctor and my feet was wrapped up like a "bak chang" (Chinese Dumpling). That night, I slept with Mandy and told her the whole story.

Both of us agreed that all these happened soon after the purchased of our "pak kwa" and so the following morning, we immediately bring the "pak kwa" with us and threw into a river nearby our place.

Miraculously, the swelling of my feet reduced and fully recovered after a few days. I returned back to my room after spending a few more nights with Mandy and did manage to get my sleep back but with the lights on.

By now, everything is back to normal. I sleep soundly at night and manage to have some good dreams, too. Thank god for that!

We Miss U, Too...

A Bird?

There was this guy sunbathing in the nude at the beach. Well, this little girl comes up to him, so he covers his private parts with a newspaper.

The little girl says, 'What's under there?' The man answers, 'A bird.'

The girl goes away and the man falls asleep.

When he wakes up, he is in a hospital and in great pain.
A doctor comes up to his bed and asks, 'What happened?'
The man answers, 'I don't know.
I was at the beach and I fell asleep after talking to a little girl.'

So the doctor tells this to the Police, and they go to the beach to find any witnesses.

When they get there, they see the little girl the man was talking about. So they ask her if she did anything to the man.

She answers, ' I didn't do anything to the man, but while he was sleeping, I played with his bird. After a while, it spit at me, so I broke its neck, burned its nest, and smashed all its eggs!'

While we were away

While we were away (neglected our blog) for about a month, we received some emails from readers asking where we were, showing concern etc. No, we're not bragging about it but it shows that we haven not being forgotten! We're really happy about it.

I never thought people would come to our personal blog and read what we write because there is no obscene topic discussions here and somethings we write are just childish, haha... Furthermore, not many people left comments and some didn't even bother to put their names besides our only supporter George. :)

Now we know that, there ARE people who read our blog, it's just that they don't tell us who they are until we are gone :) So, okay we will rajin-rajin and pandai-pandai maintain our blog :)

Anyway, the reason we went missing in action was:

1) Chinese New Year preparation we balik kampung

2) Candy and I went for a short holiday (some kinda of escapade)

3) Mandy found and lost and found and LOST a boyfriend, fuh... =_=

4) Some secrets about Candy, if she agrees I will write on her behalf because as you know, she is such a SUPER lazy person, you can see from a handful of her posts since this blog was started. Hoo hoo..

So, give us some time to blog all the chaos during our absence.

Thank you. :)

I dated a guy...

Apart from watching so many HK dramas lately, particularly from TVB, I... I... hihihi.. dated a few guys too :">

I regret to inform you that none of them clicked.

The first one was a guy whom I met in the lift, almost every time I finish work. He would smile to me and say "Hi" nervously. Call me crazy but I really love to see guys blushing and shivering when they talk to you, sometimes they can say the wrong things at the right time and it makes me laugh. And "No, I'm not angry." :) I'm happy because they like you, that's whay they are nervous.

Let's name the lift boy... Emanuel. One day, he decided to speak to me and let's do a summary here or it's gonna take forever to complete this post:

Day 1 - he said 'Hi, you look familiar". I smiled and say because we see each other in the lift everyday. He was happy that I actually noticed him (not I think but he said he was happy).

Day 2 - "Hey, how's work today. I happen to saw you in Facebook. Are you Mandy? I'm Emanuel." (Wow, he searched me :D I thought) We officially introduced ourselves and he added me in Facebook. No, no, no, not the CandyMandy account it's my personal account. Who's gonna date a sex toy wholesale queen? Wuhahahaha!

Day 3 - He wrote me a New Year Card

Day 4 - He gave me a New Year PRESENT ^o^ guess what? A movie ticket and his handphone number.

Day 5 - We went for a dinner and a movie, he was decent :)

Day 6 - We went for a lunch, movie, dinner, movie... Vat the hell is wrong with this guy.. all the time movie? :-/

Day 7 - I need a day off from this guy -_-# so annoying. He wants to watch movie again! I said No.

He continue to ask me out after that but I know he was a little too ordinary for me, so I stop going out with him. His calls become lesser, I guess he should have sensed my thoughts.

I stop seeing Emanuel in the lift. After a week of cooling off, I almost forgotten his existance, we met again in the lift when I went home 5 minutes earlier than usual. Oh.. he was avoiding me. Anyway, I'm a lady, I greeted him like before but he was a little reluctant to say that "Hi" anymore. You see? This kind of quality guys?

The next day, he sent me a bouquet of flowers with a note "I'm sorry Mandy. Do you want to catch a movie tonight? From the auditor you once dated" and again there was a movie ticket!

MOVIE MOVIE MOVIE ! >_< What's wrong with this Leonardo De Caprio?

I was so mad that I went up to his office and returned him the movie ticket with an excuse that I have watched that movie. He suggested another movie, I said no, why don't we go get a beer? visit the museum? the art gallery? round island? smoke in gurney drive? picnic? go to amusement center and play games? go out together with other friends and play cards? fly a KITE?!

He looked at me like he doesn't understand what I said. =_=

I said "Ok, why don't we meet once a month for a movie I pick because I cannot keep watching movies everyday and eventually the cinemas are gonna run out of movie to show, right?" He laughed. I'm I funny???? He didn't get my sarcasm and I felt hurt. Damn.. LOL! &^%$#!

He called me the following night asking if he had a chance. I nicely told him that we are better of to remain as friends, catch a movie once a while because we cannot click. He was ok with my answer, at least I'm frank, right?

After that, he confidently greets me "Hi" whenever he sees me. Ain't that a happy ending? But I didn't get the 1 movie 1 month invitation anymorelah, shit.. what a small gas guy. Ceh!

The Rosy Business

We have not been updating what we do lately because we were so used to the life without internet and we have so many dramas to watch. One of them was the Rosy Business.

Let's see.. the TVB series 'Rosy Business' that overrated the tv industry last year 2009. It's about the lady in the middle of the poster, Tang Shui Man, the 4th wife of an influential tycoon who monopolies the rice industry back in the old days in China, struggles to upkeep the family business with her little intelligence.

Tang Shui Man as 'Sei Lai Lai' and Lai Yiu Cheong as 'Chai Kau' was the 2 main role in the scene. Chai Kau was the hottest topic when this drama was aired be it in HK or Malaysia, since we already have Astro On Demand. Since we are not so lucky to catch it on Astro On Demand, we do it illegally, if you know what I mean >:-/

It was breathtaking, I can't stop after finishing each episode and I literally completed the whole drama in 3 days =_= it was prety tiring but the storyline was undeniably good. It's worth the marathon. And by the way, I think Ron Ng Cheuk Hei was okay in this drama because I used to dislike him.

I like 'Sei lai lai', the 4th wife and Chai Kau; especially their love and support for each other which we seldom see it now. You know, love is always associated with sex and the purity is no longer there. Candy love Susan Tse, the first wife. It's true that we cannot deny her acting was way beyond the new actresses we see these days. We also admire her looks when she is actually.. wait, let me google... 57 years old. Hey, who told me she was 75?? Anyway, she still looks young.

Girl Power

One day while I was driving, I saw 2 girls changing tyres!

If Candy and I were in this situation, er... I think I'll pull up Candy's skirt, there should be guys rushing to help us, LOL! XD

Kite

Hoohoo... The sky is blue, birds are chirping, the hot hot sun went sleeping. Today's a nice day ^o^

I went to refill petrol and saw these kites flying around. It reminds me of my childhood ^_^ but those kites were old fashioned and dull, unlike these kites, so nice!

Hmm, how nice... I wanna play kite!!!
