A Lion Called Christian - A True Story

My brother recommended me to read this book last week because he knows that I am an animal lover and would surely be impressed by the book. I finished up the book within a few hours and do highly recommend to all people who are like me, an animal lover. Though Mandy is an animal lover herself, but books and her just don't click that well. She end up snoring after the first paragraph. Duh!

The book I am talking about here is:

Book Description
As Ace and John, two friends, are searching for holiday gifts in London, they come across a lion cub for sale in Harrods, the famous department store! Unable to bear the thought of leaving the cub, Ace and John take him home and name him Christian. After a year of fun and mischief Christian has grown up, and Ace and John realize that their pet needs to be among other lions and deserves to live free, in his natural environment. Luckily, friends help introduce Christian to the African wild.

Christian the Lion tells the riveting true story of one animal’s ability to adapt to life in the wild, and captures the unexpectedly enduring connection between man and animal.

Here are some pictures of Christian, the lion during his days with Ace & John:

Last but not least...a very touching video clip from Youtube showing none other than Christian The Lion himself and his reunion with Ace & John.

Go! Go! Travel!

Well, I know I haven't been updating my blog as frequent as I wanted to due to my roller-coaster mood. Haiz...sorry about that. But I think I am OK now. I am even so in the mood of going traveling that I have been searching online for the last few days for an appropriate travel destination. My first choice is Cambodia because I have been looking forward to visit Angkor Wat for ages. I proposed to Mandy about my plan and we decided once we have saved enough $CASH$, we will book the first ticket available to fly out of Malaysia!!! Hahahaha...

Anyway, Mandy recommend that we go Bangkok since we made a promise to go there after our SPM but the plan never materialize and she would want to fulfil that dream now. I was a bit reluctant at first because newspaper of late always have news of people planting bombs everywhere in Thailand. Those Thais are full of shits! They are never satisfy no matter who is their leader...Duh!

Since we still have time, we shall open our hearts to more destinations. Hmmm...who knows we will end up going to India...wuahahahah....

I found this land packages today while surfing online. Their prices are quite reasonable...to me, at least.

It's coming to an end...

It seems like ages since I last came here. I avoid coming here because I just can't seems to find the courage to face my problems. A lot of things happen over the last few months. Thinking back, it has been so long since I am able to smile from the bottom of my heart. I guess I am lucky enough to pass by each day now without thinking suicidal. I am very sad. Seriously very down. I don't know if I will ever be able to live a normal life again.

Anyway, I feel that it is just a matter of time before we officially break-up. Is like we are waiting now who would say the words out first. I absolutely see no future in us anymore.

I am trying to get use to my life without him and hope I will be able to cope with the depression.

As I am writing this post, my heart still ache with pain. Guess the wound has not completely heal yet. Wonder how long more it needs to take?

Special OFF-DAY For Candy

Today I went to work as usual and was surprise to see everyone standing outside. The guard told me that the office's power was down, in fact the whole area's power was down. We have to sign-in manually to show our attendance and wait for further instructions. After what we waited for like half-an-hour, we were asked to go home as TNB said that they won't be able to solve the problem til late evening. YAY!
