What's the best thing to do on rainy days? Cook, eat, sleep and more sleep! I found my teriyaki sauce today and since I have some chicken in the fridge, why don't I just finish the sauce and chicken? So happen that I have some vegetables too. ^_^ Lucky!

Not forgetting my best buddy stuck at home without food the whole day, I decided to "bungkus" some food for her....Guess what???

Sunday Fruits Fiesta

After we left Gurney Plaza, headed straight for Queensbay Mall, Bayan Lepas to do some marketing.

Breakfast at A&W

Mandy drop dead this morning, decided to let her have some good sleep instead. I joined my friends out for some breakfast, remembering to leave a note for Mandy before I left the house.

It was drizzling when we arrived in town. Decided to turn into Gurney Plaza for our breakfasts.

Chosen to have our meals at A&W.

2-sets of Combo + 1 Ala-carte cost us a total of RM28.25. Thank you, Nisah! ;-)

Breakfast at 5

Woke up so late today, 5pm out of hunger... Yes, 5. I can't wait for myself to clean up, dress up, make up and join Candy and friends for dinner. So I made an express breakfast/lunch/tea for myself to tahan a while before joining them for dinner.

I can't sleep last night. Maybe too much of durian, heaty. I felt that the aircond was out or order but Candy said it was fine. I didn't believe her because she is not used to sleeping in an air condioning room, while I can't sleep without air conditioner.

Candy got back to her room and went on coma.. zzZzZZzzz...

I was tired but I really can't sleep. I thought by drinking another glass of warm milk should knock myself out >: ) but NO. I even felt hotter. I took a ladder climbed up to the aircond and took out the filter... @_@ No wonder I'm hot...

Patiently I cleaned the filters and the time was 3am O_o! Drying the filters took me another 20 mins. So I kept on telling tales in our blog to kill boredom.

As a result of oversleep, I can't sleep now... =_= Help~

Last Meal of the Day

How many meals do you take a day? 3? What about the most important meal, Supper?

Health magazines often tell us not to eat after 9pm due to many health reasons but could you resist Fried Chicken and Fish Balls?

Durian Durian, anyone?

i LOVE durian to this extend >: ) Home made durian desert / ice cream or whatever u wanna name it, as long as it's made of DURIAN, I'm fine with it. As u can see the ingredients are as above and the following steps are infact, self explanatory >:)

Candy has decided to upgrade her COOKING.exe file when she announced our menu for dinner tonight in Facebook; "East Meets West"

Oh boy, do I know how to mix east and west ~_~

Luckily we have rented our own place now, so far away from Selina (Selina's background check: http://candyxmandy.blogspot.com/search/label/Tell%20Tales) and his father (our former Mr Landlord). We just love our little kitchen and that's why we get to play 'masak-masak' oh so often >:)

Okay, let me just briefly explain my East Meets West: Chicken Marinara. Where's my East and West? Hmm.. you see the green Chinese Broccoli, so it's considered the EAST while the rest are from WEST..

While Candy's thousand legged crabs, I'll let her do the explanation: "Hmmm....ok! Well, let me introduce to you my Thousand Legged Crabs. This is one of the homemade recipe passed down from my mum. As for where is the east and west part? For sure, I consider chillies as EAST while the crabs are from WEST. In addition, I know that Mandy is very fond of crabs, so this dish is specially dedicated to Mandy." - Candy

Thank you Canbuddy! >: ) You know what? The Crabs are indescribably delicious! Seriously can fight with Tambun seafoodlah... :D

Just wanna share my dinner with you guys....Mandy refused to have dinner with me tonight because she was feeling too tired after coming back from her part time job. So, I was left on my own to source for food...

Hmm....let's start with the soup....

Candy's Lunch at "The Sire"

Today, I had lunch with my cousin at "The Sire" - a place I wanted to go so much but haven't got the chance...but since my cousin had offered to buy me lunch, is gonna be a chance I wouldn't wanna missed! Hehehe....

Anyway, the environment was great...the deco was superb...the antiques were stunning...service was good...the food??? Well, I think it was so-so...not as I have expected though. After all, I have read so many great reviews about the place...eventually my expectation has gone way up HIGH! Hahaha...

Overall I did had a wonderful time eventhough the food is a bit too pricey...but since I am not the one paying the bill...what else can I complain, right?!!
